Retouching Tools
The Spot Healing Brush Tool removes blemishes and objects (See Fig 1- Before and Fig 2 -After). Right click the Spot healing brush tool button on the Tools palette and then choose Spot Healing Brush Tool. Also here you’ll find the Red Eye Tool, very useful if your camera isn’t that proficient or you just end up with red eyes no matter what camera you use. See Fig 3 and 4 (before and after red eye tool)

The clone stamp paints with a sample of an image. Right click the Clone Stamp tool button to choose the Clone Stamp tool or the Pattern stamp tool. Press Click + Alt to define an area to clone then click on the area you need to retouch.

The eraser tool erases pixels and restores parts of an image to a previously saved date, while the background eraser tool erases areas to transparency.

The Magic eraser tool erases solid colored areas to transparency with a single click. . Right click the eraser tool button and then choose the magic eraser tool.

The blur tool, blurs hard edges in an image, while the sharpen tool sharpens soft edges in an image. The smudge tool smudges the edges in an image. Right click the Blur Tool and choose Smudge Tool.

Note: you can choose the diameter of the Brush used from the contextual options bar.
The Dodge tool lightens areas in an image. Take a look at the bell in Fig 10 and 11 and now look at it in Fig 12.

The Burn tool has the opposite effect , darkening the area in an image. Right click the dodge tool button to choose the burn tool ( Fig 13) or the sponge tool. The sponge tool changes the color saturation of an area
