The Sims 2: Bon Voyage is an expansion pack. For those who like the virtual life games, it’s a nice way to discover new worlds in front of the computer. Take a long vacation and explore the Far East, a tropical island or go camping.
The Sims 2: Bon Voyage is an expansion back and requires The Sims 2, The Sims 2 Special DVD Edition or The Sims 2 Holiday Edition for PC to play. According to the official website, the system requirements are:
  • 1.3 Ghz processor (2.0 for Vista)
  • 500 MB RAM (1GB for Vista)
  • Windows(R) Vista, Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows 98 or Windows 2000 Operating System.
  • 8x or faster CD/DVD drive
  • At least 1.5 GB of additional hard drive
  • A T&L-capable video card with at least 32 MB of video RAM.
The Sims 2: Bon Voyage allows you to take the Sims out for a trip on three different locations: a tropical island, a camping site and the Far East. Along the game, they will learn new customs, including dances and traditional local greetings, which they’ll be able to teach their friends when they get back.

Each location offers unique landscapes and local residents – Ninja, Fire Dancer. The Sims will explore local landmarks and even try the cuisine. They’ll be able to take exciting day trips, look for treasures or buy unique gifts to take home. Collect and find the clues to open big rewards! If you manage to discover the secret lots, you’ll be able to adopt Bigfoot as a member of your family or get a powerful voodoo doll that instantly makes anyone fall in love with your character. Best part all? Your Sims don’t have to work while on vacation!
